INDIANA
Big Ten Rank: 17th out of 18
Level of concern: High
Smith’s taking: Right now, Indiana Has only one engagement for the 2026 recruitment class, OL with three stars Samuel Simpson. This is an extremely slow start for a team that had a historic season last year.

The Hoosiers organize many players for spring training, including three -star safety Brayden Reilly Out of Ohio. But things should take largely to get the type of recruitment dynamics they need after last season.

Michigan state
Big Ten Rank: Tied to the 14th out of 18
Level of concern: Weak
Spartans are in an interesting position before the 2nd year of the coach Jonathan Smith Execute the program. They remain under the radar and do their work quietly even as a rival Michigan was among the biggest stories in university football. This approach paid early and they have very high players in the classroom, like the quarter Kayd Coffman and tight end Eddie Whiting.

But Michigan state will have to show an improvement on the field this season to increase this recruitment ranking, and I have a sneaky feeling.

Huskers organized many good players for training visits in the spring, but will they be able to close them? How they end with players such as defensive Titan DavisRunning back DEZEPHEN WALKER and receiver Nasir Rankin will greatly determine the success of the cycle.

Level of concern: Weak
Badgers are faced with a critical recruitment class and the season under the coach Luke Fickell. Things have not yet gone to play but there is still hope in Madison. The 2026 recruitment class begins to gain steam.
Wisconsin I have a major flight to get a verbal in Chicago Pass Rusher Carmelow reed. I also really like the Tuesday’s Polyvalent Tuesday pickup Carsen Eloms.
Badgers have many good regional targets to play the board of directors planned for official spring / summer visits. These will be essential where this recruitment class finally landed.
