It’s Mars and all the “madness” has already started, especially if you are a fan of Ohio State because buckeyes are the very definition of a bubble team.
But what about the rest of the Big Dix? The conference has teams like Michigan state,, Michigan, Maryland, WisconsinAnd purdue, but there are others who always try to put the painting and to caulk the final touch of their work to receive an invitation to the NCAA tournament.
We like to keep an eye on the “crochetologist” of the OG, Joe Lunardi d’Espn to see where he not only has Ohio State, but the Big Ten Brethren of Buckeyes when it comes to knowing who will be part of March Madness and everything that goes with it. We will continue to see where the teams are in relation to the nation while we are witnessing the final kick of the season throughout the Big Ten tournament which should give a look next week in Indianapolis.
Here is an overview of the place where each Big Ten team is with the last iteration of “Lunardi Bracketology“With matches ending on Thursday, March 6.
Big Ten Locks for the NCAA tournament
Michigan state Spartans (Seed n ° 2 planned): Spartans are the champions of the regular season of the regular season and it is difficult to see how they fall below a seeded n ° 2. Tom Izzo has made this team overloaded this year and it looks like a unit that occurs as a team.
Wisconsin badgers – (Seed n ° 3 projected): Confirm it, you do not like the Wisconsin program. Not because of what it represents, but because it continues to brake with the system and the type of players who can pass under your skin by hitting above their weight. The teams will have to beat the Wisconsin, the badgers will not fight.
Michigan Wolverines – (projected n ° 4 seed): Michigan may have reached a little slide here lately, but it is a team that can pose match problems inside and outside. It is a well-trained team and they will not be easy to go out in Indy or beyond.
Purdue boilermakers – (projected n ° 4 seed): The boilermakers started the year of hot and have since shown signs of mortality. The playoffs were not historically kind to the crew of Matt Painter, but this team has what it takes with the big guard game to rekindle the fire he had before.
Maryland terraaps – (projected n ° 5 seed): Nobody wants to see the terps. They have a length and athletics and a man-child in painting with the queen of the first year Derik posing as a nightmare for the opposition. If you want a black horse in the playoff series, that’s it.
Oregon Ducks – (seed n ° 5 projected): Oregon Was really good sometimes – especially at the start of the year, but the conference game seems to have sometimes wreaked havoc. It is always a dangerous, if not inconsistent team, and look at if it finds its start to the season.
Bruins Ucla – (seed n ° 6 projected): he took the Bruins A bit to know how to manage intimidators in its new neighborhood, but things have started to click over the season. It is the type of team that could do much better once it has come out of the big ten and in the wide games it could face in the NCAA tournament.
Illinois Fight Illini – (projected n ° 7 seed): When the Illinois plays its potential, it is undoubtedly the best team of the big ten. The problem is that the illini does not always do that and have been extremely incoherent. In a match of a match, you don’t want to face the prospect of clicks on things because, in the affirmative, Illinois can beat anyone.
On the bubble
Indiana HOOSIERS – (Project n ° 11 SEED as one of the last four counts): as you can imagine with any team of bubbles, the Hoosiers have had peaks and valleys. There have been very bad losses, but a work corpus that should bring them if they can beat Ohio State at home on Sunday. Losing and all bets are disabled.
Ohio State Buckeyes – (projected n ° 11 as one of the last four Byes): Ohio State is on the same playground as Indiana and the two will face each other on Sunday for a “bubble bath” in the assembly room. A victory probably solidifies the Place des Buckeyes in the NCAA tournament. A loss will not be a death kick, but that means that the OSU will have to win a match or two in the Big Ten tournament and hope for a lack of “bids of bids” in conference tournaments.
Nebraska Cornhuskers – (projected in the first four outings): the loss of the ohio state in double extension on Tuesday put the Cornhuskers Behind the eight ball. Everything is not lost, however. The ‘Huskers are good at hand to take care of the business against Iowa at home to get closer to the right side of the bubble. Win this and a match or two in the Big Ten tournament and the Nebraska should dance.
Outside looking at (must win the Big Ten tournament)
Rutgers, Northwestern, Minnesota, USC,, Iowa,, Penn StateAnd Washington: All the remaining teams must do a race that beats the world and most likely win the entire Dang Big Ten tournament to enter the best tournament in the playoff series in sport.
