After Bears coach Ben Johnson delivered a four letter message At the Packers locker room after Saturday night’s win over Green Bay, Johnson took to the podium to explain that his team had perceived a lack of respect ahead of the third-ever playoff meeting between the century-old rivals.
“There was probably a a little more noise coming out of their north end building to start the week, which we heard loud and clear, players and coaches alike,” Johnson said.

Johnson did not elaborate on the noise. And if there was, it wasn’t loud enough to rise above the noise of a noisy week of NFL news.
As noted by ESPN.com, Packers receiver Christian Watson and cornerback Keisean Nixon said they wanted to face Chicago in the playoffs. Additionally, Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley told reporters during his midweek press conference, “We’re not going to be done, so I’ll see you next week.”
Regardless, Johnson and the Bears saw it and dealt with it.
“It really pissed us off,” Bears guard Kevin Byard III said. “It gave us energy for the game.”

The point is this. They may act like they aren’t listening. But they do it. They all do it. And for any players or coaches who might create noise, this is the NFL version of Miranda warnings.
