February 24 – Virginia – Two NSIC games, two victories.
The Bemidji State Tennis team opened the conference during the weekend with a pair of victories on Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State on the Iron range in Virginia.
The Beavers beat the Bulldogs 5-2 on Saturday before beating the Huskies on Sunday.
Sophie Groen went 2-0 in simple n ° 1, just like Mia Leshem, Velesca Rodriguez and Lauren Rutten in the second, third and fifth simple, respectively. Groen and Leshem also won their two games in double n ° 1.
BSU won four single games and the double competition to beat UMD. The same four single competitors also won victories to beat Scsu.
Bemidji’s state has a 3-3 file to open the 2025 season and will welcome Minnesota Morris at 3 p.m. Friday at the Gillett Wellness Center.
