Austin Wells continued his hot strike and Carlos Rodon was solid in his last spring start like the Yankees Beat the Detroit Tigers, 4-0, in Lakeland.

Here are take -out dishes …

-Are during the day, Dominic Smith Opel of his contract With the Yankees and was removed from the range. Unless last minute changes, the Yankees are satisfied with the left-handers they have in the range / bench and it was proven just at the beginning of it.

Wells led the match to break a 3-2 quick ball on the right field wall. But the left recipient has not finished. After hitting a single in his third in the stick, Wells came to the seventh and finished his night smoking a three -point bomb that had a 104.3 -h / h output speed and traveled 383 feet.

Wells struck five training circuits in the spring and finished 3 for 4 by driving in the four races of the Yankees. It is easy to see Wells leading for Yankees against right -handers as he swung the bat.

Ben RiceThe other Lefty who strikes power, was also very impressive by hitting two doubles to go 2 for 4. The Place de Rice on the list is not confirmed, but he now strikes. 278 with an OPS of .943 this spring. It will be difficult not to include it with Giancarlo Stanton Probably land on Il to start the season.

-Parnage of strikers trying to make the team. With Smith who withdraws, Pablo Reyes is an adjusted right -handed potential for the Yankees bench. Unfortunately, he went 0 for 3 on Friday but still hits .297 with a .831 ops this spring.

Other notable strikers include Trent Grisham which finished 0 for 3 with a walk, Oswaldo Cabrera who went 0 for 4 and Oswald Peraza Who was safe in his three stick strikes while removing twice.

-Rodon had its final focus before starting the opening day and it was good. The Southpaw contributed a little to trouble, but when he needed an outing, he obtained one with his fast ball, which exceeded 96 mph, and a combination of cursor up to five stick withdrawals. Rodon left after 4.1 rounds (77 throws / 45 strikes) of a goalless ball, granting three strokes and three walks.

–Yoendry Gomez Seek to gain a place in the enclosure of the lifts of the Yankees and it was very effective, allowing a single step and by removing two strikers in 2.1 work sleeves.
