AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for its exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.
This is the 17th time since 2004 that the Tigers have won this award.
Varsity Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches Academic Services Program with a grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the academic year 2020-21.
Backed by 11 student-athletes earning a perfect 4.0 and 10 others scoring above 3.50, Auburn’s overall team average of 3.65 was among the 45 highest of 488 women’s teams in total who were honored this year.
