Hampton, Georgia – Jesse Love, who won his victory last weekend in Daytona, won the pole for the Nascar Xfinity series on Saturday in Atlanta Motor Speedway.
It is the third consecutive post from Love to Atlanta and the sixth of his career Xfinity. He is the first pilot from Austin Dillon to win a post during their first three departures on a track. Dillon accomplished the feat at Kentucky Speedway in 2012-13.
Love won the post with a round of 174.724 MPH on Friday.
Love will be joined at the forefront by the teammate of Richard Childre Racing, Austin Hill, who won four of the last five races in Atlanta. Hill qualified at 174,378 MPH.
Josh Williams will start third after a round of 173.684 MPH. Justin Allgaier (173.652 MPH) Qualified Fourth and Sam Mayer (173.619) completes the first five.
The Xfinity race is expected to take the green flag at 5:10 p.m. on Saturday on the CW network.
