Angel Reese in WNBA Swimsuit Photoshoot
Sports Illustrated Invited Reese to Participate in Its Flagship Swimsuit Issue in 2023, and now, Sports Illustrated is providing additional details and photos from Reese’s swimsuit shoot.
Sports Illustrated said it was publishing the photos in honor of Reese’s season.
“Angel Reese’s rise to fame began with her college years and her impressive run to the national title. It was the same year – 2023 – that Reese made her swimsuit debut in Sports Illustrated. The feature led her to Los Angeleswhere she posed for a colorful photoshoot captured by Yu Tsai,” reads Sports Illustrated’s description of Reese’s photoshoot. “Just like her personality (and unique fashion sense), her swimsuit and the setting were vibrant.
“The bold style was inspired by the art deco home that served as the set for the shoot and Reese’s energy on and off the field.”
Sports Illustrated said a lot has changed for Reese in the months since the shooting.
“A year later, her life looks a little different,” the Sports Illustrated article reads. “Her rookie season transformed the ‘Bayou Barbie’ into the ‘Chi-Town Barbie,’ and she’s already found plenty of success under her new title.”
