It’s only been a few hours since Brooks Koepka has applied again for membership on the PGA Tour, and another LIV golfer has pledged loyalty to the organization. Pat Pérez sent shockwaves by removing his longtime affiliation with LIV Golf from his Instagram bio. The update hints at a path back that many thought was closed.

“Former LIV golfer Pat Perez updated his IG bio announcing that he is “re-instated to the PGA Tour.” Reports have surfaced that Perez is facing a one-year ban following his TV appearance and is believed to be interested in competing on the Champions Tour this year,” NUCLR GOLF wrote in an X article.

Perez joined LIV Golf in 2022 and competed in the 2024 season. In those three years, he earned over $21 million. In 2025, he moved to a LIV broadcast role and did not perform. But as he turns 50 in March 2026, he has expressed a desire to play on the PGA Tour Champions. Since being an analyst also counts toward a one-year ban, he was not eligible to play on the PGA Tour Champions until August 2026. However, his Instagram bio update shows that he is now reinstated to play.
