This all started when Tsitsipas and Medvedev criticized the numerous ball changes that occur in every event to increase the risk of injuries. Since the issue was raised, there has been no turning back. After the Greek tennis player, the 25-year-old American tennis player also came forward to share his side of the story and whether or not he agrees with the reason for the increase in injuries.

When Stefanos Tsitsipas expressed his concerns about the controversy

The 5th ranked tennis player was among the first tennis players to openly express this concern to tennis fans.
