Christopher Eubanks details his relationship with Gauff
Eubanks recently participated in the ATP Tennis Radio Podcast. During the 21-minute chat, the American touched on a variety of topics ranging from his time at the Mouratoglou Academy to his practice with Serena and his time with actor Jamie Foxx. However, out of all the topics, the one that caught the attention was his relationship with Gauff.
Speaking to Eubanks, podcast host Jill Craybas asked him about his relationship with Gauff and how often they talk about the pressure of the game.
Responding to the question, Eubanks was quick to clarify things by saying that they are not talking about tennis at all. However, he pointed out that the two probably talk every day.
Both Eubanks and Gauff are professional tennis players. However, during the podcast, Eubanks revealed that he last spoke about tennis with Gauff during Indian Wells 2021, when Gauff teamed up with Leylah Fernandez for the doubles. “The last time I texted him about tennis was after his first-round doubles. It was with Leylah and I said you guys make an amazing team. She was like… thank you. Usually, we don’t talk much about tennis.

What are the two talking about?
Preparing for the fact that they don’t talk about tennis, he continued to expand on the conversations the two engage in. “She is very, very attached to Tik-Tok and I am not. So what she will do is she will just send me Tik-Toks that she thinks are funny. Then she’ll ask me my answer, it’s kind of funny, or it wasn’t funny at all. Then we will discuss it. I will respond to something she does on social media, ” he said.
Again emphasizing the fact that they speak almost every day, he claimed that Gauff knows he is on his side and is probably one of his biggest supporters. He said, “We talk almost every day, I would say. But it’s still light. It’s like she knows I’m in her corner. She knows I’m probably one of her biggest supporters.

Eubanks has often been heard calling Gauff her younger sister and she is like family to her. Expanding further, Eubanks said he usually talks about his family and his younger brothers, who are also athletes.
“I ask him how his brothers are doing and how his younger brother Cody is doing. He is one of the best catchers in the country in baseball. His youngest brother Cameron is one of the best in the under-eleven football team. I’m just going to check on family stuff and things like that. So it’s usually like that. Tennis is not a topic of conversation.
