Rumors gave the impression over the last few weeks and months that the Canadian left-back, Alphonso Davies, was close to avoiding a contract extension from Bayern Munich in favor of a transfer to Real Madrid, where trust was high. However, now maybe things have changed.

Alphonso Davies is already poised to become one of next summer’s hot topics. The Canadian, currently at Bayern Munich, is a huge object of desire for Real Madrid, a club which intends to take advantage of the state of its contract – which ends in 2025 – to sign it at a good price.

Bayern reportedly resume renewal negotiations

But things are not that simple: the Bundesliga champions, as has become the custom in recent decades, will not make things easy for the Spanish club and I already have I pressed the button to renew the wingman. They know that the danger of losing Davies is real.

German newspaper Sport Bild has published a damning update on Real Madrid’s transfers, claiming Bayern now have resumption of discussions with the player’s entourage after the impasse in negotiations last year. According to the report, Nedal Huoseh, agent of the Ultra fast wide man, met last week with sports director Christopher Freund, who expressed the club’s firm desire to extend, and therefore improve the terms of its client’s contract.

What did Davies’ agent say about Real Madrid?

The exact evolution of the situation will depend It depends on what Davies wants. and at the moment everything suggests that he is doesn’t want to miss the train that will take him to the Santiago Bernabeu. It is worth remembering Huoseh’s words in an interview with Fabrizio Romano, an appearance that was not very appreciated at the Allianz Arena.

“I don’t want to let Bayern down,” he said. “There are five big clubs in the world and Bayern is one of them. But Madrid is a big name, a big brand, with 14 Champions League titles“, continued the representative. What is certain is that we are going to have a very busy summer.
