THE Alabama Crimson Tide have joined the hunt for five stars Georgia Bulldogs commitment of quarterback Jayden Wade. Alabama offered Wade a scholarship on Friday, March 6.
The Crimson Tide is the last major college football program to offer the best quarterback. Wade, a member of the Class of 2028, is the No. 4 recruit in the country, according to 247Sports. He is ranked as the third best recruit in Florida.

Wade has been committed to Georgia since November 2025. The Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart have a long way to go before the early signing period for the 2028 class, but there is a chance Wade, a rising junior, could reclassify and become a member of the 2027 class.

Alabama joins several others SEC teams attempt to unseat Wade. THE LSU Tigers and Tennessee Volunteers are also aggressively recruiting the five-star passer.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback plays high school football for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. IMG Academy is one of the top high school programs in the country.
“I am extremely fortunate and honored to say that I received an offer from the University of Alabama,” Wade said via social media after receiving an offer from the Crimson Tide. Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer and offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb are expected to be among the Crimson Tide’s top recruiters for Wade.
