An A-League football player is one of the two men accused by police following an investigation into the alleged deception on betting involving the game.

Police alleges four games in April and May were the subject of what they described as “the player with the manipulation of carded bets”.

The detectives of the Sporting Integrity intelligence unit carried out mandates in Richmond, West Melbourne and Kingsville early Friday morning.

Two men in their twenties were responsible for engaging in a conduct which corrupts or corrupted a Paris result and the use of information on corrupt driving for bets.

The couple was released on bond to appear before the Melbourne court of first instance on July 31.

A Western club declaration, based in the suburbs of Melbourne de Tarneit, acknowledged that one of his players of his men had been charged “compared to an alleged violation of sports betting directives”.

“We take this question seriously, condemn all the actions that compromise the integrity of the game and cooperate fully with all the competent authorities,” said the press release.

The director organ imposes suspensions “ no fault ”

A Victoria police spokesman said detectives worked closely with Australian football from the direct organization in the investigation.

An Australia football spokesman said that the body had imposed “flawless” provisional suspensions on the two individuals, to stay in place until further notice.

Under the organization’s code of conduct and ethics, such suspensions can be issued in circumstances where voters have been accused of a serious criminal offense or where the reputation of Australian football may be damaged.

“Football Australia takes the integrity of football and the behavior that seeks to undermine that has no place in our sport or in our society very seriously,” said the spokesperson.

“Football Australia cooperates fully with external authorities.”
