But is The Cheetah okay with the league putting an end to the Eagles’ unstoppable play, especially after seeing the dominant trench on display in Miami’s second loss?
Tyreek Hill offers strong vision for Tush Push
Hill addressed the subject during his Podcast It had to be said.
“He’s one of those plays that they like to throw a new wave…he’s a QB-sneak, and he’s very unstoppable,” Hill began.
He then described, firsthand, why the play was so effective for the Eagles in short yardage situations.
“I feel like with their All-Pro offensive line that they had, and then Jalen Hurts, who is able to squat up to 600 pounds…then you have AJ Brown pushing you in the back , you have the tight end pushing at your back… it’s hard to stop, man,” Hill said.
“I saw these guys do it once in 4th and 2nd and pull it off, which is crazy.”
There are some harsh critiques of the play. Some believe Hurts has the advantage of having an extra push, with some citing a runner assist call that needs to be made. The play is at its best when Hurts gets an extra push from behind to gain the first down or touchdown.
Hill did, however, send this message to the league.
“I hope the league doesn’t stop him. They shouldn’t do it because I think it’s legal,” Hill said.
Should Hill play through hip ailment?
In addition to defending the Eagles’ unstoppable short-yardage lineup, many people around the league have wondered about the health of Miami’s All-Pro wide receiver.
Hill is currently dealing with a hip ailment that has many fans and analysts wondering if he will be healthy for the Week 8 game against the New England Patriots.

And once reporters asked Hill if he would be willing to face the Pats, Hill responded, “Yeah, baby. I’m fine, baby.
