Marcus explained that this action could have simply been a result of the president’s simple enjoyment of winning the World Cup. He also claimed that in different cultures, certain actions are perceived differently. However, Larsa didn’t want it and claimed it was inappropriate. The 49-year-old said: “He didn’t resign; he refused. He was suspended. His mother went on hunger strike to protest his suspension… He doesn’t even accept responsibility for what he did. He made his mother starve to death in his place. He’s a grown man who behaves like a child.

Recently, the president of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, found himself in a delicate situation because of his behavior towards Spanish icon Jenni Hermoso. During the medal ceremony, Rubiales was seen kissing Hermoso on camera. According to the player and other reports, Hermoso did not consent.
