What’s new, NASCAR fans and followers? Welcome to part six of my summer series “What’s Wrong with NASCAR?” » as I discuss a silent problem in NASCAR, we, the fans. No, don’t adjust your glasses, you haven’t read anything wrong. Today I’m going to explain why the fan base is one of the many problems with NASCAR.

Before I start cooking, I want to set out a disclaimer. This week’s article aims to highlight how we, the fans, could be better about our fandom. I too find myself guilty of some of these issues, so don’t think I’m targeting fans. Ultimately, we fans could do a better job of supporting the good aspects of the sport.
