The hottest topic in NBA circles right now is how everyone is talking to Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Its performance on the international stage is light up the basketball world. Or, perhaps more precisely, his performance on the international stage lights up world basketball.
He is the toast of the NBA. A young player who Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr heaps praise. We even boarded the fashion train, because we threw the 22-year-old shooting guard’s name into the ring for consideration for NBA MVP in the future.
Scandalous! Absurd!
But for every parade, there is someone who is more than happy to make it rain on that parade. And that storm cloud happens to be in the form of former Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Patrick Beverley, a veteran who will compete for the Philadelphia 76ers, his sixth NBA team in 12 NBA seasons.
So, when the subject of Anthony Edwards came up, Patrick Beverley said this:
“He’s going to leave Minnesota… with this personality, he can change the world with basketball”

Is he right ? For this to be true, two things must happen. Either:
A – The Minnesota Timberwolves won’t value Anthony Edwards as much as Anthony Edwards values himself, OR
B- Anthony Edwards will no longer believe that the Minnesota Timberwolves are capable of building a team around him capable of competing for an NBA championship.
While I respect former Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley’s willingness to weigh in on a very hot NBA topic and name at the height of Anthony Edwards’ current popularity in the NBA and internationally , if he was so good at predicting the future, I think he would. invest your money in stocks or cryptocurrencies, and not speculate on the future of a former teammate.
Tendency. 4 Timberwolves who could move at the 2024 NBA trade deadline. light
Let’s slow down a little and think about what was said and why.
