Today is March 11, 2026. A meeting was held between the WNBA and the WNBPA players union to reach a collective bargaining agreement with the league setting an arbitrary deadline of March 10 for the 2026 WNBA season to start on time.
According to Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports, this meeting was continuing around 11 p.m. ET last night.
And at 11 p.m. ET, the parties were still meeting.
Oh yeah, it’s midnight and they’re still in a meeting.
I’m going to bed now, so hopefully I’ll write some good news in the morning about a major positive change. No guarantees though. Share your thoughts in the comments below.
