Top Milwaukee Brewers prospects who could contribute in 2026

Still, Williams finished the 2025 season with 17 home runs, 34 doubles, seven triples and 34 steals in 130 games between the two levels.

Williams fits the typical profile the Brewers like to target, so it’s no surprise to see him be a key piece in Peralta’s return. He’s a fast, athletic player who gets on base at a high rate, packs punch for his frame, can wreak havoc on the base paths, and can play multiple positions. Williams received numerous spots at second base, shortstop, and center field in the minor leagues.

When looking at Williams’ impact on the big league team in 2026, his best chance to play will likely come in center field. However, he will likely be used as a super-utility piece for Milwaukee given his experience playing in the middle of the infield as well.

That said, Williams just turned 22 in November, and given that he struggled in Triple-A to finish the 2025 season, there’s no reason for the Brewers to rush him to the majors. He likely starts at Triple-A to establish himself in the organization and earn more reps before being considered ready for the big league.

He will be a name to watch in camp. If he forces the Brewers’ hand with a strong spring training, there is a world in which he makes the Opening Day roster. However, the more likely outcome is that he gets a little more seasoning in Triple-A to start the year with the possibility of an early or mid-season call-up, which is exactly how the Brewers handled the situation with Caleb Durbin last year.

He will be a fun player for Brewers fans to watch, and Matt Arnold and company have to be very excited about what he can bring to the table for years to come in Milwaukee.

Jeferson Quero has long been one of Milwaukee’s top prospects, and it appears he will be William Contreras’ primary replacement on the MLB roster come Opening Day.

Quero, 23, has yet to make his MLB debut, but has shown his potential in several different ways throughout his time in the minors. A torn labrum forced Quero to miss all but one inning of the 2024 season, and another shoulder injury forced him to miss further time in 2025. But upon his return in 2025, Quero continued to show why he is one of the best catching prospects in all of baseball.
