Updated 01/29/2026: Patriots will wear white in Super Bowl 60 against Seahawks

After Devin McCourty posted a photo of the Patriots’ Super Bowl LX jerseys on social media, the team officially confirmed their all-white look:

Original story 01/29/2026: Patriots to wear white in Super Bowl 60 against Seahawks

Even if a injury report was released, the New England Patriots did not practice on Wednesday. However, they also had no day off and were instead at Gillette Stadium for other commitments.

Among those was a meeting with NBC’s production team for Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks, including former Patriots safety and current analyst Devin McCourty. And it was McCourty who then shared a photo on social media that effectively revealed the team’s outfit for the upcoming game.

As a photo of him and running back TreVeyon Henderson – the team’s former and current No. 32 player – shows, New England will be all white against the Seahawks:

The Patriots are the designated home team for the Super Bowl, which means they have first choice in what to wear. Apparently, they’ve decided to go with what has been established as their traditional road outfit this year – fitting more into the “Road Warrior” mentality the team has adopted in 2025.

They were previously all-white in five games this season, including last week’s 10-7 victory in the AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos. During the regular season, they also celebrated road victories against the Saints, Bengals, Ravens and Jets while donning white jerseys, white pants and white socks.

Including the Super Bowl, this look will end up becoming the second most common this year. The full count, with respective records in parentheses, is as follows:

  • Blue jerseys, silver pants: 7 (6-1)

  • White jerseys, white pants: 6 (5-0*)

  • Blue jerseys, blue pants: 4 (3-1)

  • White jerseys, blue pants: 1 (1-0)

When it comes to their Super Bowl history, the Patriots have never gone monochrome before. They wore their white-blue outfits in five appearances and switched to blue-silver in four, with white-silver and red-white each worn in one title match.

In total, the distribution looks like this:

  • Super Bowl XX (46-10 loss to the Bears): red jerseys, white pants

  • Super Bowl XXI (35-21 loss to the Packers): white jerseys, silver pants

  • Super Bowl XXXVI (20-17 victory against the Rams): blue jerseys, silver pants

  • Super Bowl XXXVIII (32-29 victory against the Panthers): blue jerseys, silver pants

  • Super Bowl XXXIX (24-21 victory against the Eagles): white jerseys, blue pants

  • Super Bowl XLII (17-14 loss to the Giants): blue jerseys, silver pants

  • Super Bowl XLVI (21-17 loss to the Giants): blue jerseys, silver pants

  • Super Bowl XLIX (28-24 victory against the Seahawks): white jerseys, blue pants

  • Super Bowl LI (34-28 overtime victory against the Falcons): white jerseys, blue pants

  • Super Bowl LII (41-33 loss to Eagles): white jerseys, blue pants

  • Super Bowl LIII (13-3 victory against the Rams): white jerseys, blue pants

As can be seen, this year’s Super Bowl will mark the Patriots’ fifth straight wearing white jerseys – a streak that began against these same Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
