Western Conference Standings
It’s early in the season, but it’s never too early to start looking at the standings. The Minnesota Timberwolves are the surprise of the season, leading the Western Conference with 13 wins and just 4 losses a month into the season. The Nuggets are in second place with a 12-6 record, which shouldn’t really worry them considering they were 11-7 after their first 18 games last year. The Rockets sit a game over .500 at 8-7, above the Pelicans, Warriors and Clippers who were all playoff teams last year. There is a reversal of trend in the West. The teams we’re used to seeing in the playoffs are getting older, making room for younger talent in the league.
