Along with the NBA All-Star roster, the full voting results have been released. There are also some interesting things here.
According to the voting released by the NBA Secretariat on the 20th (Korean Standard Time), 386 NBA players participated in the voting and a total of 364 players received votes.
In the Western Conference, Nikola Jokic (Denver) topped the list with 135 votes, while in the Eastern Conference, Cade Cunningham (Detroit) topped the list with 159 votes.
In the Eastern Conference, the five players from 1st to 5th were selected in team voting, but the West was selected as Anthony Edwards (Minnesota), ranked 4th, Kevin Durant (Houston), ranked 5th, and Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio), ranked 7th for the Lakers, were selected. Doncic was largely influenced by his No. 1 ranking in the fan vote, while Wembley tied with Edwards, but he was selected earlier in the fan vote.
Unexpected players also got votes. Bronny James, who is the son of LeBron James and who averaged 7.6 points and 5.7 assists per game in 24 games with his father’s Los Angeles Lakers this season, also received two votes.
Some players only got one vote. Jason Tatum, who hasn’t played a single game due to an Achilles injury this season, also got one vote.
Others including Kristaps Porzingis (Atlanta), Miles Turner (Miladelphia), DeAndre Hunter (Cliveland), Kyle Lowry (Philadelphia), Marvin Bagley III (Washington), Eric Gordon (Philadelphia), Buddy Hield (Al Horford (Golden State) and Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento) also received a vote.
NBA All-Star Team Voting lets you vote for yourself. Only the parties will know if the players who only got this one vote voted for them.
