Seen as if the tennis season was officially over and we had nothing left Exhibition matches watching until the Australian Open, I thought I’d do something a little different and post the songs I’ve been listening to on my blog throughout 2012.
Blogging isn’t always easy and there have definitely been days when I don’t feel like writing, especially after defeats or those typical Federer routine matches we inevitably have at the start of Grand Slams where you could literally sum up the match in a sentence or two. Music therefore plays a big role on this blog and I am constantly looking for new songs to boost motivation.
It’s with this in mind that I thought I’d share my favorite songs from 2012, I’ve compiled them into a Youtube and Grooveshark playlist so they’re accessible to everyone. If there is demand, I will also do one on Spotify.
To get you started, here are some of my most played songs below, just to give you an idea of what to expect.
Indian Neon – Polish Girl
Some say it was written in dedication to Agnieszka Radwanska 😉 but either way it’s a melody.
Maximo Park – Undercurrents
Lucas Nord vs. Urban Cone – Let’s Stay Young
How did this only get 100,000 views?
Cave painting – So calm
Kavinsky – Night Call
This track is from a movie called Drive that I watched earlier in the year, it’s a cool movie and it’s one of the best soundtracks I’ve heard in a while.
As I mentioned above, I’m always looking for new songs, so feel free to name some in the comments section below, and if I like them, I’ll add them to the playlist! Just make sure there’s no One Direction or Tulisa.
