Matildas captain Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis have welcomed their first child together.
Kerr shared the news in an Instagram post Thursday evening.
“Our little man is here, Jagger Mewis-Kerr,” she wrote.
The Matildas congratulated the couple on their official Instagram page.
“Welcome to the Tillies family, Jagger! Congratulations to moms Sam and Kristie on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy!”

Kerr, 31, and Mewis, 34, announced their pregnancy in November last year.
The biological mother, aged 34.
The soccer players have been a couple since 2021 and got engaged in late 2023. They first met in 2019 during a United States Women’s National Soccer League tournament match.
Mewis, an American national, represents the US national team and also plays as a midfielder for club West Ham United in the English Women’s Super League.
Kerr has been captain of the Australian women’s national football team since 2019.
She was out for over a year after suffering an ACL injury in January 2024, but was deemed eligible to return as captain in March.
