To say it was a chaotic evening of Premier League action would be an understatement – but no game summed it up better than Newcastle’s seven-goal thriller against Leeds United at St James’ Park.

Brenden Aaronson opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half, before Harvey Barnes leveled things a few minutes later.

Daniel Farke’s men, however, won a penalty which was calmly converted by Dominic Calvert-Lewin moments before the break to put the visitors back in front.

Joelinton thought he had equalized again in the second half, but Aaronson then scored his second of the evening to put Leeds ahead for a third time.

Aaronson somehow went from hero to zero as time ticked down into added time by conceding a penalty for handball, which Bruno GuimarΓ£es scored with composure to level things up again.

Yet, as if that wasn’t enough, in the final seconds of the match, Barnes scored a second to clinch one last victory for Newcastle.

The goal was scored in 101 minutes and 48 seconds, making it the last ever winner in a Premier League match, according to Opta.

The result leaves Eddie Howe’s side in sixth place in the league table, tied on 32 points with Manchester United.
