Another Auburn What stands out is having the opportunity to impress scouts with one of college football’s marquee all-star games. On Tuesday, Auburn offensive lineman Dillon Wade accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl.
The East-West Shrine Bowl is considered the second best college all-star game after the Senior Bowl. The game will be played on Tuesday, January 27 in Frisco, Texas. Coaches and squads have not yet been announced for the match. This will be a great opportunity for Wade to show NFL scouts why he has the potential to go pro. Wade had the opportunity to enter the NFL Draft after last season, but decided to return to Auburn for his final year of college football.

Wade began his college career at Tulsa before transferring to Auburn in 2023. When he arrived at Auburn, he was a much-needed addition for the Tigers. The offensive line is a position where the Tigers have not benefited from consistent play. He started all 12 games this season for the Tigers at left guard. In 2024, Wade moved from tackle to guard in his second season with the Tigers. During his first season with Auburn in 2023, he played in all 12 games, making 11 starts.
Wade joins other Tigers participating in college all-star games. Tight end Brandon Frazier will play in the Hula Bowl. For the Senior Bowl, offensive lineman Jeremiah Wright and linebacker Keyron Crawford will participate in the marquee college all-star game.
