Within a short period of time setting a new career high on SaturdaySpaniard Santi Aldama repeated a 37-point performance on 13/21 on the field, including seven triples, lifting Finnish boss Tuomas Iisalo and the Memphis Grizzlies on the Utah Jazz137-128, at the Delta Center on Tuesday. “It feels really good to see the ball go through the hoop, but you just have to try to be aggressive and be patient. That’s what the coaches always talk about. Sometimes it’ll be me, sometimes another teammate, but as long as we’re winning, that’s what matters to me,” he reacted in a post-match interview. For the hosts, Ukraine’s Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk had nine points, with Finland’s Lauri Markkanen (managing a right groin injury) and Bosnia’s Jusuf Nurkic (rest) absent.

A double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds from Turkey’s Alperen Sengun was not enough for the visitors, with Swiss substitute Clint Capela producing two points.

A double-double of 11 points and 16 rebounds from Frenchman Rudy Gobert helped the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the New York Knicks115-104, in Target Center. His fellow starter, Italian Donte DiVincenzo, scored 11 points, but Frenchman Joan Beringer did not play. Without Britain’s OG Anunoby (left ankle pain) and France’s Guerschon Yabusele (illness), the visitors included France’s Mohamed Diawara on three points and Germany’s Ariel Hukporti on two points, but France’s Pacome Dadiet and Britain’s Tosan Evbuomwan failed to score.

Georgian starter Sandro Mamukelashvili scored 14 points. Reserve options for Erik Spoelstra included Lithuania’s Kasparas Jakucionis getting seven points and Italy’s Simone Fontecchio scoring five points, but Serbia’s Nikola Jovic (right elbow contusion/laceration) and Sweden’s Pelle Larsson (left ankle sprain) were unavailable, and Russia’s Vladislav Goldin was inactive.
