Pettersson then met Federer and asked the tennis legend if he had ever played hockey. Federer said he had never tried the sport, but always wanted to learn.
Pettersson then gave Shelton a tour of the Vancouver locker room where he told the young star to never step on the Canucks logo. He also showed Shelton where they store the pucks and where the skates are sharpened.
The team finished the day by exchanging jerseys and posing for a photo on center court.
