Before Brisbane, he will return to center stage when he takes on women’s world number one Aryna Sabalenka in a Battle of the Sexes style exhibition match on December 28.
The match, which divided opinion, will be broadcast live on BBC One.
The 30-year-old will also take part in the Kooyong Classic warm-up in Melbourne in January as he works towards a potential return to the Australian Open.
Kyrgios has suffered a series of serious injuries in recent years and has seen his world ranking drop to 673.
He does not have a protected ranking and will therefore also need a wildcard to participate in the first Grand Slam of 2026.
