THE Dishes have absolutely Brandon Waddell to Triple-A after he went unclaimed off waivers.
New York brought back Waddell on a one-year major league deal this offseason and received a spot on the 40-man roster, but was DFA’d earlier this week to make room at C. Drew Romo.

Waddell will stay with the organization and numbers to start the year with Syracuse, but could come contribute in the big leagues if needed.
The left-hander pitched well in 11 outings with the Mets last season, putting up a 3.45 ERA in 31.1 innings.
