Like the Miami Hurricanes continue the journey of the 2025 season, our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook have released the odds for the College Football Playoff quarterfinal game against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Without further ado, your FanDuel Sports Betting line of the week:

Now that we’ve moved on to the CFP, Miami isn’t significantly more talented than its opponent. Miami and Ohio State both have rosters loaded with blue-chip talent, and the Buckeyes are one of the few teams with more blue-chip talent than the Canes. But so does Texas A&M. This should be a fast-paced, physical game showcasing both collections of elite talent.

For me, the line is good. Both teams are among the most talented and accomplished in the country and are competing for a national championship. The talent is there. The stories are there (oh BOY, the stories are there). The extrinsic motivation (A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP) is there. And that sets the stage for a potentially epic game on New Year’s Eve.

Miami wanted the opportunity to show its mettle against the best teams in the country and compete for a national championship, and after winning against A&M, they have that chance. They face an Ohio State team that is intent on repeating as national champions and has several South Florida natives on its roster. If you wanted the chance to take on the best in the sport, this is it.

That’s the line. Share your thoughts in the comments. We’ll talk more about this game in the coming weeks.
