Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KONAMI) announced a free update for the 2025 season of the mobile game eBaseball™: MLB PRO SPIRIT.
The new update features players, managers and uniforms now compatible with Major League Baseball (MLB) on-field play. A special recognition campaign will be held in-game to obtain the new “Cover Athlete ’25: Shohei Ohtani” (Batter) to celebrate the start of this new season! Ohtani’s abilities were boosted to celebrate his historic “50-50” record and other feats from the previous season.
Season Update Login Rewards – Shohei Ohtani:
The “SHOTIME 25 LOGIN BONUS #1”* campaign kicks off today, offering users the chance to collect a new Tier III “’25 Cover Athlete: Shohei Ohtani” (Batter) card. Simply log in to the game during the promotional period to collect the reward.
Additionally, a special recognition event will also be held for users to obtain a Grade IV “Cover Athlete ’25: Shohei Ohtani” (Batter) card! His abilities have increased following his historic achievements in the 2024 season. Users can expect more content to arrive in the 2025 season update, including a “25 Cover Athlete: Shohei Ohtani” (Pitcher) card campaign which will arrive at a later date.
Make the big choices in STAR WATCH:
STAR WATCH brings users closer to their favorite teams and players. Each month, users can vote for one of 10 players who they think will perform the best on a specific theme in real-world games. These same 10 players will be available for scouting in eBaseball™: MLB PRO SPIRIT at an upcoming event. The player with the best real-world record will appear in the game with some of their abilities enhanced. Users who successfully predict the player will receive an additional reward.
The theme of the first round is the number of successes! Users can vote now by predicting which players will get the most hits from April 1st to 22nd!
