NASSAU, Bahamas — Bryson DeChambeau held court Sunday night after Team USA lost to Europe in the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York. And according to his two teammates Harris English, JJ Spaun and American captain Keegan Bradley, he let himself go on the dance floor.
“That’s what makes the Ryder Cup so great, you see sides of guys that you would never normally see,” Bradley said at the Hero World Challenge.

The American team fell behind 11½-4½ before making a valiant comeback in Sunday’s singles, but it wasn’t enough as Europe brought the Cup back to their side of the pond after a 15-13 victory. DeChambeau was an emotional leader for Team USA, often coming out first and igniting the crowd as he attempted to drive the first green. But he won just 1½ points in his five matches and had to rally to tie in his singles match against European Matt Fitzpatrick. But that didn’t stop DeChambeau from being the life of the party when all was said and done on Sunday.
“Bryson was trying to breakdance Sunday night on the dance floor. I don’t know if you’d call it breakdancing, but I give him an A for effort,” Spaun said.
Speaking at the RSM Classic in late November, English also said he enjoyed seeing “a different side of Bryson, which I really liked.”
English added: “He probably loves the Ryder Cup more than anyone I’ve ever seen, so it’s cool to see that. A guy I haven’t spent a lot of time with in recent years, so it was great to get to know Bryson better and see that side of him.”
