Spurs, meanwhile, improved to 11-4 overall and 3-0 since losing star Wembanyama to a calf injury thanks to a group effort replacing the French big man.
Fox added nine assists and Johnson had seven assists along with a season-high in points – 18 of them in the first half.
“My teammates expect me to score in basketball,” Johnson said.

Tyrese Maxey scored 54 points to spark the Philadelphia 76ers to a 123-114 overtime NBA victory in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee’s Myles Turner made a three-pointer with 15 seconds left to give the Bucks a 106-104 lead, but Maxey hit two free throws with seven seconds left in regulation to force an overtime period.
Maxey scored six points in overtime and the Sixers dominated for the victory. Paul George added 21 points for the 76ers while Ryan Rollins had 32 to lead Milwaukee, which was without injured star Giannis Antetokounmpo, just as the Sixers were missing Cameroonian big man Joel Embiid.
Orlando won for the fifth time in six games as Jalen Suggs scored 23 points and Franz Wagner added 20 to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 129-101.
The Magic were without Paolo Banchero due to a groin injury, but dominated despite a season-high 31 points from James Harden for the Clippers.
This saw the 4-11 Clippers fall to 1-9 in their final games in what has been a disastrous start to the season.
