(Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae) ○…Kim Se-young (28, Mediheal, photo) moved to “number 4”.

On the 21st (Korean time), she received 5.78 points in the officially announced weekly women’s golf world rankings, moving up one place from last week’s 5th place. Although the 2023 LPGA Tour is over, the rankings have changed due to a unique selection method. The women’s golf world ranking, introduced in February 2006, is calculated based on tournament results over the past 104 weeks (2 years) from the date of announcement. Results from the past 13 weeks carry more weight, and majors receive additional weighting.

Nelly Korda (USA) remains 1st (9.90 points), Ko Jin-young (26 years old) 2nd (9.67 points) and Lydia Ko (New Zealand) 3rd (5.86 points). ‘Golf Queen’ Park In-bee (33, KB Financial Group) lost one place to 5th (5.76 points). South Korean Kim Hyo-joo (26 years old, Lotte) is 9th (4.82 points), Lee Jeong-eun 6th (25 years old, Daebang Construction) 17th (3.38 points), Park Min-ji (23 years old, NH Investment & Securities) 20th (3.28 points), Yoo So-yeon (31 years old, Mediheal) 24th (3.08 points) and Jang Ha-na (29 years old, BC). Map) 28th (2.89 points).
