CENTENNIAL EVENINGS
Thanks to the franchise Centenary theme previously announced – “Always an Original” – this landmark season will unfold in four iconic chapters that tell the story of how the Blackhawks embodied the innovative spirit of Chicago itself, defining the future of hockey for a century, just as the city where the team calls home defined the future of American cities.
From the team legends who innovated the game of hockey, the arena that shook up opposing teams to the champions who won six Stanley Cups to the future of the sport, fans will be immersed in the rich legacy that shaped the franchise and the game in general.
In addition to an exclusive series of figurines of the fan-favorite legends who shaped these stories, each chapter will feature an exclusive game night that includes pre-game ceremonies, alumni appearances and other fan experiences unique to that chapter’s history. All other home games will also feature narration relevant to chapters throughout the Blackhawks core game experience.
