Laura Rutledge and Tim Tebow, two proud University of Florida alumni, presented Georgia Bulldogs red and black on SEC Nation Saturday.
No, the Billy Napier era didn’t cause the duo to abandon their alma mater. Rutledge and Tebow lost a bet. The last time SEC Nation was in Georgia, they agreed to wear Georgia jerseys if Florida lost. Tebow coyly supported Florida β perhaps expecting a loss β and spoke of his loyalty to his university.

The Bulldogs beat the Gators, 24-20, two weeks ago, and what better time to make good on that bet than with Kirby Smart on the board.
βHe only does it because he doesn’t have a coach to be loyal to in Florida,β Smart joked as Georgia mascot Hairy Dawg pulled out the outfit.
Smart pulled out her phone for documentation, Tebow asked for a trash bag in case he rushed, and Rutledge threw her hands up in disbelief at what she was doing.
Out of shame.
At least Tebow had the last word, with βGo Gators!β 3-1 vs. UGAβ on the back of his jersey.
This is all great fun. Rutledge reminded the audience of a time when Smart brought Tebow a jersey to wear and the Gators legend (rightly) refused. She playfully asked the crowd how long Tebow had to wear it, to which they responded, “All day.”
