Tennis star Tommy Paul and his longtime partner Paige Lorenze have revealed their engagement. The world number 16 suffered a surprising second-round defeat at Wimbledon, but he turned his early exit into something magical by popping the question to his influencer girlfriend on a picturesque beach.
Paul was eliminated in the second round at Wimbledon, losing in four sets to Sebastian Ofner, who was in in turn defeated by Grigor Dimitrov. Bulgarian Dimitrov was forced to withdraw despite being two sets against Jannik Sinnerthe eventual winner. The Italian defeated Carlos Alcaraz in Sunday’s final.
The pair shared the exciting news via a joint Instagram post on Monday, drawing congratulations from other tennis stars and social media personalities.
Paul and Lorenze posted several photos of their special moment, with Lorenze looking radiant in a stunning white dress. A detailed photo highlighted her stunning rectangle-cut diamond ring. “Forever,” she captioned the post, adding a white heart emoji.
Tennis champions Coco Gauff, Victoria Azarenka and Danielle Collins were quick to offer their congratulations in the comments section, while the official accounts of the Australian Open and ATP Tour also sent their best wishes to the newly engaged couple.
Lorenze later posted an additional video capturing their engagement, showing the happy couple in a romantic embrace on the beach before proudly flaunting her sparkling ring on camera. “Dream man forever,” she exclaimed.
In another Instagram story, she expressed her overwhelming emotions: “The amount of thought and love Tommy has put into these last few days makes me want to cry all over again… I feel incredibly lucky.

Lorenze became a topic of conversation when she cheered on Paul at the Queen’s Club, where he triumphed at the precursor Wimbledon tournament. The 27-year-old has been part of Paul’s tennis journey since 2022, attracting attention when he claimed victory at Queen’s Club last year, beating Lorenzo Musetti in the final.
