Ohio State announced a series of 2025 season promotionswhich included a “Black Out” at the stadium when the Buckeyes host Penn State on November 1. The game could be the most important on the Big Ten schedule this season, as Penn State and Ohio State are conference favorites. Penn State and Ohio State has been marketing themed games for more than a decade. Before FOX’s big kickoff at noon became a thing, Ohio State was a biannual visitor for the “Penn State White Out”. Ahead of the Penn State-Ohio State game
Penn State and Ohio State have a long way to go before their Nov. 1 meeting at Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes open the season on August 30 with a 1-on-2 matchup when they host the Texas Longhorns for a noon ET kickoff. The Buckeyes also take road trips to Illinois and Wisconsin before hosting the Nittany Lions.
Meanwhile, Penn State plays a friendly non-conference schedule before hosting Oregon at Beaver Stadium on September 27. This match is the annual match “Penn State white out.” and is the highlight of the Nittany Lions’ seven-game home schedule.
