Jason Myers kicked a basket of 52 yards with the final game of the match while the Seattle Seahawks sealed a 23-20 dramatic victory against the Cardinals of Arizona.
The cardinals had rallied 14 points to equalize the match with 28 seconds playing in the fourth quarter, the quarter-Arrière Kyler Murray launching for two affected.
The Seahawks quarterrier, Sam Darnold, then put his team in the field of goals on the ground before Myers hit the winning kick.
He marked the second time in a week that Arizona lost with the last kick of the match, after a defeat of 16-15 by the 49ers of San Francisco on Sunday.
Myers, 34, scored three goals on the field in the outside victory at the State Farm Stadium, but missed one of 53 yards a few minutes earlier.
“I saw this guy playing golf – it’s a stallion,” said Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald. “He has ice in his veins. We knew that he was going to kick.”
Myers added: “I did not try to change anything – stay faithful to my routine.”
Seattle goes to a 3-1 victory record, while Arizona is 2-2.
