Many things have changed since the age of Jack Nicklaus on the golf course.

But there is one thing in particular that one of the legends of the game really cannot bear the current era of golf.

The golden bear simply cannot bear to see golfers interviewed in the middle of their turn during the course.

Nicklaus, 85, shared his reflections during the second round of the commemorative tournament at the Muirfield Village Golf Club – An event he organizes each year.

The incident that took the anger of the golf legend occurred while Ben Griffen – in the running at the event and seated 7 under the first round – was caught for an interview with Fox Sports in the 17th hole.

Nicklaus was not impressed, saying that he wants the players to be able to focus on their game and not be distracted when they plan their photos.

“I cannot bear this, the interview on the golf course,” said Nicklaus. “I can’t stand that. Let me tell you how I think. Seriously, it’s a guy who runs the golf tournament.

β€œHe sits on the edge of rough and very difficult shooting on a very difficult hole.

“And you tell him about things that totally make him an opinion of what he does.”

Nicklaus then explained how he thought that some colleagues of his time would have manipulated walking by walking in the fairways.

“How do you think that (Ben) would answer this question?” Nicklaus asked for rhetorically. “You don’t have any teeth left if you were doing. He will hit you straight for the face. “

However, with regard to post-round interviews, Nicklaus is everything to see the golfer speak and enhance labor journalists.

“I always felt that you have a job to do and girls,” he said.

“And, for you to do your job, you have to talk to me.

“Whether I played well or I played badly, if you always want to talk to me, I will tell you about. And I always did it. ”
