Liv Golf officially announced the signing of Dechambeau during the second day of the opening event of the Golf Liv invitation series which was held the 11th (Korea Time) at the Centurion Golf Club in London, England (by 70, 7,032 yards). With the Dechambeau joint, Liv Golf now has eight main US PGA Tour champions. Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson (USA), Martin Kaymer (Germany), Sergio Garcia (Spain), Charl Schwartzel, Louis Oosthizen (South Africa) and Graeme McDowell (Northern Ireland) all moved to Liv Golf.
Earlier, the agent of Dechambeau, Brett Perkoff, suggested the move to Liv Golf in an interview with ESPN, saying: “Professional golf course changes very quickly” and “Bryson has always experienced the life of an innovator”. Dechambeau is a player with eight career victories, including the title of Open of the US Open 2020. This year, due to a wrist injury causing a long absence, its world ranking fell to the 28th. Patrick Reed (USA), the 2018 masters champion, is also likely to join Liv Golf.
