Toronto Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors 81-69 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League in Cox Pavilion Thursday.
Although Golden State took an advance of 23-13 after the opening frame, Toronto dominated this match. The Raptors took a second quarter of 23-14 to resume the match, then took control with a third quarter of 26-16. This allowed Toronto to lead at least five points for the 13 minutes of closing this match. The Raptors pulled 84% of the free throw line (26 for 31) while the Warriors pulled 66% (19 for 29). Toronto won the turnover battle, 27-14, while surpassing Golden State in reversal points, 33-14. They also exceeded the Warriors, 19-14, while exceeding them in the painting, 40-24.
The Raptors (4-0) were led by Collin Murray-Boyles, which posted 20 points, nine rebounds, two assists and four interceptions. Jamison Battle collected 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and two interceptions. Alijah Martin led the bench with 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while J Lawson accumulated 12 points, three rebounds, five assists and three interceptions.
The Warriors (2-2) had only one two-digit player, Chris Manon Amant 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two interceptions and two blocks. Will Richard collected seven points, five rebounds and four assists. Taran Armstrong led the bench with eight points, five rebounds and two assists.
The latest Golden State League game will be a consolation match on a unknown opponent on Saturday. Toronto progressed to the semi-finals on Saturday with his perfect record and will face either the Sacramento Kings or the Clippers of Los Angeles. The Charlotte Hornets and Oklahoma City Thunder are the other two teams in the semi-finals.
