At its first departure 3-0 since 2015, Arizona slowly begins to attract national attention while the game of the Big 12 conference is looming. And this first league test will be in prime time.
The UA Big 12 opener at No. 12 Iowa State on September 27 will start at 4 p.m. PT and Air on ESPN.
This will mark the first meeting between Arizona (3-0) and Iowa State (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) since 1968, when the Wildcats won 21-12 in Ames. The AU is 4-1-1 all time against cyclones.

The Iowa State is one of the five Big 12 schools that Arizona will have played for the first time in a while, if never. The conference at home opening match on October 4 against Oklahoma State, will mark the first meeting with Cowboys since 2012.
The Arizona has not played on the main ESPN network since the opening of the Big 12 of last season, which it won 23-10 at UTAH. The Wildcats won four consecutive and five out of six night games.
