The field of the playoffs will be found with 12 pilots after the race (the coverage before the race starts at 7 p.m. HE Saturday evening on USA Network).
Austin Cindric holds the final transfer point. The four pilots behind him are: Austin Dillon (11 points below the cutting line), Shane Van Gisbergen (-15), Alex Bowman (-35) and Josh Berry (-45).
Chase Briscoe (Darlington Win) and Denny Hamlin (Gateway Win) have already passed in the second round with their victories.
XFINITY series
The Xfinity qualifiers start with Friday evening race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Connor Zilisch won the regular season title. It is 59 points – almost a full race – above the cutting line.
The four pilots starting the playoffs under the Cup line are Carson Kvapil, Sheldon Creed, Harrison Burton and Austin Hill.
Hill was stripped of his points in the playoffs to need an exemption to be eligible for the playoffs after being suspended a race for having demolished Aric Almirola in Indianapolis.
Series of Craftsman trucks
The truck qualifiers resume Thursday evening in Bristol after a weekend. Corey Heim won the first Darlington match to go to the next round.
Jake Garcia holds the last transfer place with two races to play. Chandler Smith is two points below the cutting line. Kaden HoneyCutt is seven points under the Cup line.
