The center of Vegas Golden Knights, Tomas Hertl, has returned to train today in a regular practice jersey.
The 31 -year -old suffered an upper body injury on March 23 against Tampa Bay lightning after Emil Lilleberg pushed Hertl into the boards, which called the HC Bruce Cassidy game "insane."
On April 2, Hertl returned to train in a contactless jersey, Slowly tries to return to full contact.
"I’m sure he wants to be with his teammates," Cassidy said after practice on April 2. "He put the work. We didn’t know how it was going to happen, but good to see him again there."
Now eight days later, Hertl is a full -fledged participant and took line rushes in his usual place as a second line center, alongside Pavel Dorofeyev and Brandon Saad.
Praha’s native Cze had a wonderful first full season with the Golden Knights, scoring 31 goals and 59 points in 70 games. His return will help the power game of the Golden Knights and will facilitate the recent loss of Jack Eichel, who was absent from the practice of the team after being announced day by day with an upper body injury.
The Golden Knights are back this evening against Seattle Kraken, but Hertl’s status for the match remains unknown.
