Sunderland: Danny Collins assesses the difficulties of black cats in Milan Aleksic

The former defender of Sunderland, Danny Collins, thought about the start of his career in difficulty in Milan Aleksic Draw 0-0 with Norwich City Just marked his second departure for the Black Cats.

Aleksic became a black cat in August of last year, joining the Serbian side Radnicki on a four -year contract, but only made six appearances in the championship, becoming a sustainable replacement unused as he tries to adapt to English football.

Regis Le BRIS started the 19 -year -old at Carrow Road on the right side of the midfielder, but Aleksic lasted 68 minutes without having a lot of impact on the procedures.

“It was difficult for him,” Collins told BBC Radio Newcastle.

“From what I saw before Norwich, I thought he had been quite good. Some opportunities that he had not seized but it was quite clear with the ball in the middle of the park.

“I think that his favorite position would be to play in an eight, and I thought that regis the broken would have played it there against Norwich and Chris Rigg would be the one on the right with Patrick Roberts falling on the bench.

“But he put Aleksic on the right side and he fought.

“I think the two wingers did it. Tommy (Watson) entered the left and none could really enter the match, beat the back and take care of the ball.”

With their status as a secure dam following the dead end in Norwich, the next game of Sunderland is against Swansea City on Saturday And the broken can seek to experiment with its programs and staff during the five remaining games of the regular season, potentially offering someone like Aleksic more opportunities.

“He was on the bench 31 times unused this season,” added Collins. “As a player who is demoralized. Weekly weekdays, he probably thinks:” I’m not going here “.

“When we say about Chris Rigg and Jobe (Bellingham) playing week after week and the fans said that they seem a bit like long legs, give him 10 to 15 minutes in the games and he did not get it.

“Then to throw him directly in the last night and he struggled and he looked frustrated when he left. So, now interesting to see what is going on with him on Saturday.

“Does the break keep Aleksic in it? Or maybe brings him back and he will have to reassess, keep his head down and train again.”
