The 14 -year -old son of the former New York Voltier Yankees, Brett Gardner, is said to have died due to asphyxiation after possible food poisoningA Costarian official said on Monday at NBC News.

Miller Gardner died on Friday during a family trip to Costa Rica. Brett and his wife Jessica published a statement By the Yankees on Sunday, confirming the news.

The Costa Rica judicial investigation agency published a preliminary cause of death on Monday, telling NBC News that Miller “died by asphyxiation” after a possible poisoning after having apparently ingested food “.” “This cause of death is preliminary, and Miller’s body still needs to undergo an autopsy and a toxicology relationship.

In their statement on Sunday, the Gardners said that Miller had fallen ill “with several other family members” on vacation. The family said he had died peacefully in his sleep and asked for intimacy by crying Miller’s death.

The Yankees published a separate statement on Sunday, describing Miller’s death as “unimaginable”.

“Our hearts are heavy, and the family of Yankees is filled with sorrow after learning the death of Miller Gardner. The words are insignificant and insufficient to try to describe such an unimaginable loss. It is not only Brett who literally grew up in this organization for more than 17 years – just like his wife, Jessica, and their two boys, Hunter and Miller.”

Brett Gardner has spent his entire 14 -year -old career in MLB with the Yankees. In their statement, the Yankees said that Brett was not the only member of the Gardners to grow in the organization, calling Jessica, Miller and Gardners’s other Hunter.
