Rain showers moved to the Indian Wells region on Tuesday morning about two hours before the first games of the day.
First five rounds Evening matches were postponed last Thursday Because of the rain.
In total, 22 matches are Tuesday’s calendar, including four 16 male games and four other 16 women’s games. In addition, eight male double games, two women’s double games and four mixed double games are scheduled for Tuesday.
The National Weather Service in San Diego provides up to a tenth inch of rain in the Coachella valley on Tuesday.
A dry and sunny weather is planned for Wednesday with a high temperature at nearly 70 degrees.
However, a larger storm system is expected to travel Thursday in the Indian wells region that could lead to a half-puck. Currently, the quarterfinals of the BNP Paribas Open Men and for women are scheduled for Thursday.
The dry weather is scheduled for Friday and on weekends. The tournament is expected to end on Sunday with championships in simple male and female.
